Drew Daniel is one half of the electronic group Matmos. He is also Associate Professor in the Department of English at Johns Hopkins University, and the author of two books: 20 Jazz Funk Greats (Bloomsbury) and The Melancholy Assemblage: Affect and Epistemology in the English Renaissance (Fordham University Press). He lives in Baltimore.
