Joanne Leow

Joanne Leow is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the University of Saskatchewan. She has published research on Singaporean and Canadian texts in the Journal of Asian American Studies, Canadian Literature, and the Journal of Postcolonial Writing. She is writing a book manuscript on authoritarian urban planning, cartography, and contemporary texts from Singapore. She is also leading a SSHRC-funded study of the waterfront developments and relevant cultural texts from Singapore, Hong Kong, Vancouver, and Dubai.
