Luana Ciavola is a PhD candidate in Cinema Studies at the University of Melbourne. She researches Italian cinema from the 1960s onwards. Her thesis focuses on Italian films from the years after the economic miracle to the second economic miracle, with particular attention to political and psychoanalytical aspects.
