Asher Bilu is a renowned painter and sculpture who has had numerous solo exhibitions in Australia and Europe and whose work is held in collections including the National Gallery of Australia, the National Gallery of Victoria, the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney). His only film production designer credits are with Paul Cox, bringing his unique visual sensibility to the films Man of Flowers, My First Wife, Cactus, Human Touch, and Vincent: The Life and Death of Vincent Van Gogh.
