Antonio D. Sison

Antonio David Sison is a U.S.-based Filipino theologian engaged in the study of Theology and Cinema. He obtained his Ph.D from the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen in the Netherlands. He is a contributing writer for the National Catholic Reporter, The Journal of Religion and Film, Cross-Currents, and the book Representing Religion in World Cinema (Palgrave Macmillan 2003). He is also a screenwriter and independent filmmaker. His latest short art film is The Passion of Chris, a satirical take on the theme of “Catholic guilt”.
