Amir Hossein Siadat

Amir Hossein Siadat is a film researcher, teacher, and critic currently based in Iran. As a member of the Association of Iranian Film Critics, he has steadily contributed film articles over 15 years, collaborating with various magazines in Iran such as Film, Chāhār, Filmkhāneh, Cinema va Adabiāt, and others. He served as the Director of the Cinematheque at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art for over five years. He has experience in curation, having organised a number of international film weeks in Iran. Last year, a book he co-authored with Sahar Khoshnam was published, which examines the film Shatranj-e Bad (The Chess of the Wind, Mohammad Reza Aslani, 1976).
