Tilman Baumgärtel

Tilman Baumgärtel is professor of Media Theory at the University of Applied Sciences, Mainz. He taught at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (2009-2012) and the University of the Philippines (2005-2009). His publications include Sine Cinema (2007), KON: The Cinema of Cambodia (2010), South East Asian Independent Cinema (2012) and Film Reviews from Réalités Cambodgiennes, Kambuja and Nokor Khmer 1965-1974 (2025).
