Stephen Morgan

An AHRC-funded PhD candidate at King’s College London, Stephen Morgan recently submitted a thesis entitled Ealing Down Under: Nation, Empire and the Australian Films of Ealing Studios, 1945-1960 which recasts Ealing’s post-war Australian venture as a series of negotiations between imperial impulse and national endeavour. He has previously had work published in Studies in Australasian Cinema and Reviews in Australian Studies, and contributed to the edited collections Ealing Revisited (BFI/Palgrave) and Film on the Faultline (Intellect).
