Sérgio Dias Branco

Sérgio Dias Branco is Associate Professor of Film Studies at the University of Coimbra. He studied film at the University of Kent and is a researcher at CEIS20 - Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies. His latest books are Cinema e Dialéctica: Uma Gramática Profunda (Cinema and Dialectics: A Deep Grammar) (Página a Página, 2024) and Exploring Film and Christianity: Movement as Immobility (Routledge, 2024, co-edited with Rita Benis). He was recently a Visiting Scholar at Duke University to conduct research on film and theology.
