Mary Farquhar

Mary Farquhar is Associate-Professor at Griffith University, Australia. Her book, Children’s Literature in China: from Lu Xun to Mao Zedong (New York: ME Sharpe, 1999), won the International Children’s Literature Association’s annual award for the most distinguished scholarly work in the field. Her current book with Chris Berry is called Cinema and Nation: China Onscreen (New York: Cambridge University Press, forthcoming).
