Henrique Brazão is a PhD candidate in Art Studies at NOVA University Lisbon (FCSH), where he is researching the concepts of temporality and love – as narrative trope, artistic gesture, or ethical ground – anchoring his study in the works of American filmmaker Kelly Reichardt. He has written about international contemporary cinema through the conceptual lenses of temporality, nostalgia, anxiety, fragility and love.
