Catherine Gomes

Catherine Gomes recently submitted her PhD entitled A Study of the Cross-cultural Reception of the Asian Swordswoman in Chinese-language Cinema with the History Department at the University of Melbourne. She has also published and taught in the areas of history and film. In 2007, Catherine will be taking up a teaching position at RMIT (Melbourne) in Asian Media and Culture.
