Abel Muñoz-Hénonin & Nace Zavrl

Abel Muñoz-Hénonin is an editor at Senses of Cinema and Film History professor at Escuela Superior de Cine (ESCINE). Prior to that he was programming director at Cineteca Nacional, Mexico’s national film archive, where he founded the film/moving images journal Icónica. His most recent book is Márta Mészáros frente a la Historia (Márta Mészáros Facing History, 2024). Nace Zavrl is an editor at Senses of Cinema and a PhD candidate at Harvard University. He has published in Afterimage, Camera Austria, and Visual Studies, among other venues. Nace lectures at the Academy of Visual Arts in Ljubljana and works as a Curatorial Assistant at the Harvard Film Archive.
