Shan Tong

Shan Tong is a Beijing-based film researcher and curator. Her writings can be found in various English and Chinese publications such as Studies in Documentary Films, Journal of Chinese Cinemas, Chinese Independent Cinema Observer, and The Paper. Her research interests encompass Chinese-language film and media, documentary studies, film festival studies, and transnational cinema. Additionally, she works as a programmer for the Beijing International Short Film Festival (BISFF).
